We are absolutely thrilled to share the news that Langhorne Slim & The Law’s new record, The Way We Move, has debuted at #194 on the Billboard TOP 200 Chart, #159 on the Top Current Albums chart, #36 on the Independent Current Albums chart, and #5 on the Top New Artists Album chart!
The record has been garnering widespread critical acclaim. The New York Daily News declares, “Matched to his gorgeous, rootsy American music, Slim’s roughness gives his sound soul,” and MTV Hive calls the music, “…rocking and joyous…”
Langhorne Slim & The Law will hit the road again in July and play a series of shows in August with special guest opener, Jessica Lea Mayfield. More tour dates will be announced soon!

Langhorne Slim & The Law have announced new tour dates for May and June. If you haven’t already heard it yet, stream the title track from Langhorne’s forthcoming album The Way We Move here! The album release date is June 5th!
David Wax Museum has also announced new tour dates. The band will be opening quite a few dates on Joe Pug’s upcoming tour. Don’t forget it’s not too late to order the band’s new album and receive it when it’s released this fall. Click here for more info.
Carolina Chocolate Drops have a song titled Daughter’s Lament featured on the soundtrack for the movie The Hunger Games. The soundtrack is now available on iTunes.

We are excited to announce that Jim Avett will be releasing his next album, Second Chance, on February 7, 2012 via Ramseur Records. The record features songs drawing from early rock and roll and classic country influences.
