We are pleased to announce that Songs for Persephone by Mimi Goese and Ben Neill will be released on August 30th! The song “Blackpool” is featured in the July Music Sampler offered by the Utne Reader. Here’s what they said about the album:
“Goese and Neill make art songs for the indie set, fusing melodies by classical composers—Berlioz, Strauss, Grieg, and more—with fresh lyrics on Songs for Persephone, which comes out August 30 on Ramseur Records. The result is ageless and arresting music.”
